Our Team

In 1989, two monumental life events took place for Doug. First of all, Doug married his wife, Leasie, with whom he has 5 children, and secondly he began his career in the Financial Services industry. Over the years, Doug has enjoyed guiding his 5 children (Jeremiah, Josiah, Micah, Zachariah, and Lydia) through life, while impressing upon them the importance of honesty, integrity, and responsibility. He has attained the CLU^® designation, is a member of the Life Underwriters Training Council and is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Growing up on his family farm in southern Lancaster County, PA, Doug learned the importance of hard work, responsibility, and family. Aside from his time at the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and children by attending their volleyball, golf, and basketball events. He also has a passion for landscaping, and can often be found working in his yard on a Saturday morning attending to the weeds that may have invaded his flower beds during the previous week, or perhaps he may be sitting on his lawn mower enjoying a beautiful afternoon behind the wheel of his John Deere garden tractor. Moreover, Doug has served his community through his involvement with numerous community groups and organizations. He is currently on the Board of Calvary Church of Lancaster, PA, having served there since 2006.

For over 11 years Mary Louise has worked with Property and Casualty Insurance in the state of Pennsylvania. Consistently achieving Gold status recognition from Liberty Mutual, Mary Louise excels in her knowledge of Home, Auto, and Liability applications while placing the utmost priority in maintaining excellent customer service.

Along with her 3 children, and 7 grandchildren, Mary Louise recognizes no other team except for the Pittsburgh Steelers. At the office, we know when the Steelers win because we can all hear her dancing Steeler bobble head first thing in the morning after game day. Aside from being an avid football fan, Mary Louise enjoys being active in her church, spending time with her family, and the occasional country music concert.

Patti worked for Prudential for 40 years, and has served in her current role as Marketing Assistant for Hershberger Financial Group for the past 7 years. She is more than capable of assisting you with any questions you may have regarding your Prudential accounts. In her spare time, Patti enjoys taking care of her two Golden Retrievers, as well as volunteering at her local church, and spending time with her husband.

Keith has been employed as a Hershberger Financial Group Marketing Assistant since 2016 and is authorized to distribute Prudential and Liberty Mutual products.

In Keith’s role at Hershberger Financial Group, he is the senior P&C agent to Liberty and Prudential.

Before passing his state insurance exams, Keith was employed by Data Mechanix for 5 years located in Irvine, Ca, coordinating data recovers for Western Digital, government agencies, and the private sector.

Keith worked 26 years for UPS and was an original member of a 12-member National DIAD team. This program changed the landscape of data capture and opened the door for the logistics that are now on display with companies like Amazon.

Keith has a degree in Business/ Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in Human Resources/ Industrial Relations from Saint Francis University. Keith is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.

He has been married for 41 years and has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time, he golfs, hunts, fishes, and collects coins.

Matt has been employed as a Hershberger Financial Group Marketing Assistant since 2018 and is authorized to distribute Prudential and Liberty Mutual products.

Before joining the team at Hershberger Financial Group, he worked in direct sales for two years and brings 25 years of Professional Human Resource experience in both the non-profit and private sectors.

Matt is a devoted family man, married for 29 years, with one daughter currently a junior in college. He is active in his community and a past board member of Birth Right of Johnstown. His interests include, but are not limited to, spending time with family and their many pets, working around his home, golfing, reading, and always learning.

Matt earned two degrees from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial/Labor Relations, with a concentration in Applied Psychology, and returned some years later as a ‘seasoned’ student, earning a Master of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management while welcoming a newborn, working full time, and building a home for his family.

With more than 16 years in the financial services industry, Andy enjoys helping people plan for their financial future. He frequently holds workshops on various financial topics and finds great fulfillment in assisting people with their retirement goals and helping them achieve those financial objectives.

In his spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with his family and neighbors, working outdoors and is an avid beekeeper. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and is involved with the church where his family attends. Andy and his wife Deanna live with their three boys, Kyle, Luke and Jake, and the family Labrador Moose.
